How a tsunami survivor developed the unique ability to see trust gaps invisible to other marketers
A place once I called home...
Life couldn't get much better than this...
This wasn't my first career. Not even close.
I used to own and run scuba dive centers in Thailand and Indonesia. Beautiful beaches, crystal water, the works.
Life was good until December 26, 2004.
That morning, the ocean I loved took everything.
I survived the tsunami. Barely. Lost my business overnight. My home. Nearly my life.
What came after was almost worse.
Business partners who vanished with what little remained. The crushing weight of starting over.
The endless cycle of rebuild, collapse, rebuild again, the kind of stuff that breaks you in places no one can see.
But here's the weird thing about trauma – it changed how my brain works.
This wasn't my first career. Not even close.

But here's the weird thing about trauma – it changed how my brain works.

December 26, 2004 a massive earthquake triggered a massive tsunami that traveled at neck break speed. I was hit by a 14 meter wave.

It's a miracle I even survived that. I spend 8 weeks in hospital and had 10 surgeries.
The force and size of the wave pushed large fishing vessels onto the shore. Everything in its wake was flattened and destroyed.
I recovered but my life drastically changed.

I started noticing patterns everywhere. Tiny signals most people miss. I could feel when something was about to go wrong before it happened.
I learned to spot those micro-moments where someone's interest quietly shifts to "nah, I'm out" – often before they even know it themselves.
Years later, when I stumbled into Facebook Ads and funnels, I realized I wasn't seeing funnels like everyone else. Where others saw conversion tactics, I saw trust architecture.
I approached funnels like someone who knew what it felt like when everything falls apart – and what it takes to rebuild from absolute zero.
People started calling me The Funnel Therapist. The name stuck.
Aged 30 I walked away from a comfortable corporate management job with an Inc. 500 company to share my passion for the ocean with others. I left everything behind and moved to a different continent, ready for an adventure.

On December 26th 2004 my dream life, and that of hundreds of thousands, was violently interrupted when the Asian Tsunami left me with life-changing injuries.
I survived and to keep the dream alive, I pivoted and became a business owner. Building and co-owning 3 scuba dive centers across 2 countries. This is when I built my first website and dove into online marketing.
In 2015 a run of bad luck, business partner betrayal and deceit began unraveling what I'd spent 11 years building. My passion turned into a toxic nightmare
In 2017 I left everything behind and launched my own online marketing business. No partners. No more betrayal. (I know, that’s terrible logo and design, but you have to start somewhere 😉)
In 2022, after years of honing my craft, I earned my first ClickFunnels certification and began working with two Two Comma Club winners (entrepreneurs who've generated over $1M through a single funnel.).
2024 - Received the prestigious Funnel Builder Award directly from ClickFunnels founder Russell Brunson. One of only 42 recipients worldwide to earn this rare recognition for exceptional funnel craftsmanship and innovation.
2025 - Elevated to Gold Certified status by ClickFunnels, joining an elite circle of marketers recognized for consistent excellence in funnel strategy and implementation, further validating my proven approach to solving complex conversion challenges.
